Guided tutorial

See how Chalkboard fits around a real session.

Take a step-by-step tour through actual Chalkboard screens, from starting a session to finding the useful parts later. No sign-in is needed for this walkthrough.

You do not need every feature on day one. Start a session, write one note, and end with one afterthought.

Sample data was created only for this walkthrough.

Start a session

Start with a few natural words

Open New Session and describe what you are about to play or practice. Chalkboard turns that into a title and session details for you to review. Prefer more control? Manual setup is always available.

  • Tap the center + action, then choose New Session.
  • Describe the game, opponent, location, or practice goal in your own words.
  • Review the generated title and details before starting.

All features at a glance

A small first habit, with more tools when you want them.

The tutorial follows the main journey. These groups show where the supporting features fit without asking you to learn them all at once.

At the table

Start or resume a session, keep score, add notes, tags and photos, favorite a session or note, and draw a table layout.

Session history

Search Active, Ended, Favorites, and archived sessions. Open a record to review it, or use its available edit, archive, resume, and delete actions.

Review & practice

Return to Favorite Notes, Stats & Insights, Saved Tables, Session Tables, built-in Drills, and Presets for repeated setups.

Your context

Use the optional Player Profile, FargoRate connection, APA levels, app Settings, and location context only when they help.

Keep & share your record

Export filtered session PDFs, a ZIP of full sessions, or a notes PDF for your own review and conversations.

Updates & support

Check What’s New and Roadmap, or use Report a Bug for product support when something is not working.
