Install

Install the APK in four steps.

  1. Download the APK on the Android device.
  2. Open the downloaded file.
  3. If Android asks, allow this browser or file manager to install unknown apps.
  4. Install Chalkboard, open it, and sign in with an invited account.

Chalkboard uses the hosted app and needs an internet connection. The APK is not currently distributed through Google Play.

Existing test installs

Older debug builds must be removed once.

Android cannot install the permanent signed release over an older debug-signed APK. Uninstall the old Chalkboard app, install this release, and sign in again. Sessions stored in the Chalkboard account remain available, but local-only preferences may reset.

Future signed Chalkboard releases will use the same certificate and can update this installation normally.
